As part of our Yard #4 facility upgrades and expansion beginning in 2017, ConServ acquired a mostly dilapidated one-room school built in 1895. The former school is 1 of 4 structures on the National Register of Historic Places in Roane County, WV. Beginning in mid-2019, ConServ commissioned the restoration of the former school to eventually become the “ConServ Learning Center” or CLC. The CLC will be used to host various training events as well as serve as a central location for various on-line/LMS training courses for the ConServ workforce Restoration activities are nearing completion (including original paint colors) and our first scheduled course (Frontline Leadership Training) for ConServ employees is scheduled for the week of March 9, 2020.
